Provide telehealth care for adults seeking evidence-based weight management and metabolic health treatment, including virtual evaluations, review of clinical data, and appropriate prescribing under state laws. The role also includes follow-up monitoring, documentation in the EMR, and coordination with care teams in a structured remote workflow. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct virtual patient evaluations by video and/or asynchronous review
- Review intake forms, medical histories, and laboratory results
- Prescribe and manage treatment plans in compliance with state regulations
- Provide follow-up care and ongoing clinical monitoring
- Document encounters accurately within the EMR
- Maintain adherence to telehealth, prescribing, and documentation standards
- Collaborate with care coordination teams to support patient success
Required
- Active, unrestricted U.S. Nurse Practitioner license
- Board certification as FNP, AGNP, or equivalent
- Active licensure in 30+ U.S. states
- Prescriptive authority in licensed states
- DEA registration where required
- Eligibility to practice telemedicine in licensed states
Preferred
- Prior telehealth experience
- Experience in obesity medicine, metabolic care, or GLP-1-based treatment
- Strong clinical documentation and compliance awareness
- Comfort working independently in a remote environment
