Provide virtual evaluations and ongoing follow-up care for patients seeking weight management and metabolic health support. The work centers on reviewing intake information, clinical history, and lab data to determine appropriate treatment plans using independent medical judgment. The role is fully remote and includes collaboration with care coordination and operations teams in a telehealth setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct virtual patient consultations, including synchronous and asynchronous visits as applicable
- Review intake forms, medical histories, and laboratory results
- Determine medical necessity and prescribe treatment when clinically appropriate
- Provide ongoing clinical oversight, follow-ups, and treatment adjustments as needed
- Document encounters, clinical decisions, and prescriptions accurately in the EMR
- Collaborate with care coordinators and internal teams to support adherence and outcomes
- Maintain compliance with telehealth, prescribing, and documentation standards
Required
- MD or DO with an active, unrestricted U.S. medical license
- Board certification in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
- Eligible to practice telemedicine in licensed states
- For NP candidates: active, unrestricted license with prescriptive authority
- For NP candidates: board certification as FNP, AGNP, or equivalent
Preferred
- Licensed in multiple U.S. states
- Prior telehealth experience
- Strong understanding of evidence-based weight management and metabolic health
- Comfort working in a collaborative, remote-first environment
