Provide telehealth visits for patients seeking weight management and metabolic health support, including virtual evaluations, review of intake data and lab results, and treatment planning based on independent clinical judgment. The role also includes follow-up care, prescription management when appropriate, and coordination with internal teams to support adherence and outcomes. Clinicians work in a remote-first, tech-enabled model with strong operational and care coordination support.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct virtual patient consultations through synchronous and asynchronous telehealth workflows
- Review intake forms, medical histories, and laboratory results to inform care decisions
- Determine medical necessity and prescribe treatment when clinically appropriate
- Provide ongoing clinical oversight, follow-up care, and treatment adjustments as needed
- Document encounters, clinical decisions, and prescriptions accurately in the EMR
- Collaborate with care coordinators and internal teams to support patient adherence and outcomes
- Maintain compliance with telehealth, prescribing, and documentation standards
- Participate as an active clinical member of the provider group
Required
- MD or DO with an active, unrestricted U.S. medical license, or an active, unrestricted NP license with prescriptive authority
- Board certification in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine for physicians, or FNP, AGNP, or equivalent certification for nurse practitioners
- Eligibility to practice telemedicine in licensed states
- Multiple U.S. state licenses
- Strong understanding of evidence-based weight management and metabolic health
- Excellent clinical judgment, documentation skills, and attention to detail
Preferred
- Prior telehealth experience
- Licensure in 30+ U.S. states
- Comfort working in a collaborative, remote-first environment
