Provide asynchronous telehealth care for patients seeking weight-management treatment, primarily by reviewing intakes and prescribing GLP-1 therapy when clinically appropriate. Most work is chart review, with occasional brief live visits in states that require them. The practice is physician-owned and uses a lightweight remote platform, with clinical operations handling scheduling, support, and paperwork.
Key Responsibilities
- Review patient intake information for weight-management visits.
- Prescribe GLP-1 therapy, including semaglutide and tirzepatide, when appropriate.
- Conduct asynchronous chart reviews as the primary visit type.
- Complete brief live telehealth visits when required by state-specific rules.
- Document clinical decisions and messaging-based refill encounters on the platform.
- Collaborate with clinical operations staff on scheduling, support, and paperwork.
Required
- MD or DO degree.
- Active medical licensure in Arkansas, Delaware, Louisiana, Mississippi, New Hampshire, Vermont, and West Virginia.
- Clean disciplinary record.
- Comfort with telehealth and evidence-based obesity medicine.
Preferred
- Additional state medical licenses.
- Prior telemedicine experience.
- Prior experience with GLP-1 therapy or weight-management care.
