This clinician will provide asynchronous and synchronous telemedicine visits for patients with metabolic and weight-related conditions, including individualized treatment planning, GLP-1 prescribing, and peptide therapy. The role also includes ongoing documentation and patient coaching in a digital-first care model focused on weight management and metabolic medicine. Team members work in an interdisciplinary environment that emphasizes clinical excellence, empathy, and clear communication.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct asynchronous and synchronous telemedicine visits for metabolic and weight-related conditions.
- Provide individualized treatment plans for patients in metabolic medicine and obesity care.
- Prescribe GLP-1 therapies, including compounded and branded options, as clinically appropriate.
- Use peptide therapy as part of patient care when indicated.
- Document ongoing care in the electronic medical record and maintain digital workflows.
- Participate in patient coaching and education to support treatment adherence and progress.
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team in a telemedicine setting.
Required
- Current professional license or certification appropriate to practice as an MD, DO, NP, or PA and in good standing.
- Licensed in at least 30 U.S. states, or hold IMLC eligibility with willingness to add states.
- At least 1 year of telemedicine experience.
- Clinical experience in metabolic health, endocrinology, or weight management.
Preferred
- Interest in peptide therapy.
- Experience in weight management, endocrinology, primary care, or a related field.
- Spanish-speaking ability.
- Comfort using EMRs and working in a digital-first environment.
