In addition to clinical skill-building, the role covers career support such as resume review, interview preparation, salary negotiation, and networking strategy. Coaches work independently, set their own hours and rates, and partner with the team to provide a structured, supportive experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct virtual coaching sessions with NP students and practicing nurse practitioners.
- Provide guidance on patient care, treatment planning, and prescribing medications.
- Support students through NP certification requirements and exam-related preparation.
- Review resumes and provide interview preparation for NP career advancement.
- Coach clients on salary negotiation and networking strategy.
- Collaborate with the internal team to deliver a high-quality learner experience.
- Use a clear, structured approach to break down clinical and career topics.
Required
- Experience working as a nurse practitioner.
- Ability to coach or mentor learners in a structured, supportive way.
