Provide outpatient telepsychiatry for adults with common mental health conditions, including depression, anxiety, ADHD, insomnia, PTSD, and bipolar disorder. The role centers on comprehensive psychiatric assessment, medication management, and brief psychotherapy, with care delivered through a technology-enabled, evidence-based model. Psychiatrists work with strong operational support and collaborate with peers through consultations and case review.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive psychiatric assessments, including mental health history, medical history, diagnostic evaluation, and risk assessment.
- Provide outpatient psychiatric care for conditions such as depression, anxiety, ADHD, insomnia, PTSD, and bipolar disorder.
- Create individualized treatment plans that may include medication management and brief psychotherapy.
- Use evidence-based protocols and responsible prescribing practices, including controlled-substance safeguards.
- Collaborate with other psychiatrists through consultations and case reviews.
- Use telehealth, EHR, e-prescribing, and AI-enabled tools to support care delivery.
- Coordinate with operational teams for scheduling, insurance verification, billing, prior authorizations, and pharmacy coordination.
Required
- MD or DO degree.
- Active, unrestricted medical license in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
- Experience or training in psychiatry, with strong assessment, diagnostic, and medication-management skills.
- Comfort providing care remotely and using electronic health record systems.
- Commitment to patient-centered, compassionate, evidence-based care.
