This role centers on outpatient telepsychiatry for adults with common mental health conditions such as depression, anxiety, ADHD, insomnia, PTSD, and bipolar disorder. The psychiatrist performs comprehensive assessments, develops individualized treatment plans, and manages medications with the option to include brief psychotherapy. Care is delivered remotely with strong administrative, technical, and peer support in a technology-enabled, evidence-based practice model.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide psychiatric care for patients with depression, anxiety, ADHD, insomnia, PTSD, bipolar disorder, and related conditions.
- Conduct comprehensive psychiatric assessments, including mental health history, medical history, diagnostic evaluation, and risk assessment.
- Create individualized treatment plans that may combine medication management and brief psychotherapy.
- Use evidence-based protocols and responsible prescribing practices, including safeguards for controlled substances.
- Collaborate with other psychiatrists through consultations and case reviews.
- Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care in a remote telehealth setting.
- Use electronic health record and telehealth tools effectively to support care delivery.
Required
- MD or DO degree.
- Active, unrestricted license to practice medicine in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
- Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and medication-management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Comfort providing care remotely and using electronic health record systems.
