Provide outpatient psychiatric care via telehealth for adults with common mental health conditions such as depression, anxiety, ADHD, insomnia, PTSD, and bipolar disorder. The role includes comprehensive psychiatric assessments, individualized treatment planning, and ongoing medication management, with brief psychotherapy as part of care when appropriate. Clinicians work within an evidence-based, tech-enabled practice that offers significant administrative support and collaboration with other psychiatrists.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive psychiatric assessments, including mental health history, medical history, diagnostic evaluation, and risk assessment.
- Provide telehealth psychiatric care for patients with depression, anxiety, ADHD, insomnia, PTSD, bipolar disorder, and related conditions.
- Create and implement individualized treatment plans that may include medication management and brief psychotherapy.
- Use evidence-based protocols and responsible prescribing practices, including safeguards for controlled substances.
- Collaborate with other psychiatrists through consultations and case reviews.
- Use EHR, e-prescribing, and other technology tools to support remote care delivery.
- Coordinate with operational support teams for scheduling, insurance verification, billing, prior authorizations, and pharmacy coordination.
Required
- MD or DO degree.
- Active, unrestricted license to practice medicine in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
- Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and medication-management skills.
- Comfort providing care remotely and using electronic health record systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred
- Experience providing telepsychiatry or remote outpatient psychiatric care.
- Experience with evidence-based psychiatry and responsible prescribing practices.
- Interest in collaborative practice and clinical consultation with peers.
