Provide outpatient psychiatric care for adults via telehealth, with a primary focus on common conditions such as depression, anxiety, ADHD, insomnia, PTSD, and bipolar disorder. Work includes comprehensive psychiatric evaluation, medication management, and brief psychotherapy as needed, with an emphasis on evidence-based, patient-centered care. The role is fully remote and supported by a tech-enabled practice model with strong administrative and clinical infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide psychiatric care for patients with depression, anxiety, ADHD, insomnia, PTSD, bipolar disorder, and related conditions.
- Conduct comprehensive psychiatric assessments, including diagnostic evaluation, mental health history, medical history, and risk assessment.
- Create individualized treatment plans that may include medication management and brief psychotherapy.
- Use evidence-based protocols and responsible prescribing practices, including safeguards for controlled substances.
- Collaborate with other psychiatrists through consultations and case reviews.
- Use telehealth, EHR, e-prescribing, and other technology tools to deliver care efficiently.
- Coordinate with operational workflows related to scheduling, insurance, billing, prior authorizations, and pharmacy coordination.
Required
- MD or DO degree.
- Active, unrestricted license to practice medicine in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
- Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and medication-management skills.
- Comfort providing care remotely and using electronic health record systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred
- Experience with telepsychiatry or remote outpatient care.
- Experience working in evidence-based, protocol-driven psychiatry.
- Interest in clinical autonomy and collaborative peer consultation.
