Provide telehealth psychiatric care for adults with common outpatient mental health conditions such as depression, anxiety, ADHD, insomnia, PTSD, and bipolar disorder. The role centers on comprehensive psychiatric assessment, diagnosis, medication management, and brief psychotherapy within a patient-centered outpatient model. Clinicians work with psychiatrist support, peer case review, and strong operational and technical infrastructure to practice with substantial autonomy.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide outpatient psychiatric care via telehealth for a broad range of common mental health conditions.
- Conduct comprehensive psychiatric assessments, including mental health history, medical history, diagnostic evaluation, and risk assessment.
- Create individualized treatment plans that may include medication management and brief psychotherapy.
- Use evidence-based protocols and responsible prescribing practices, including controlled-substance safeguards.
- Collaborate with psychiatrists and clinical peers through consults and case reviews.
- Use EHR, e-prescribing, and other technology tools to support remote care delivery.
- Coordinate care within an operationally supported model that includes scheduling, insurance, billing, and prior authorizations.
Required
- Active, unrestricted authority to practice as a PMHNP in at least one U.S. state or jurisdiction.
- Clinical skills in psychiatric assessment, diagnosis, and medication management.
- Ability to provide care remotely and use electronic health record systems.
- Commitment to compassionate, patient-centered, evidence-based care.
