Provide telehealth psychiatric care for patients with common outpatient mental health conditions such as depression, anxiety, ADHD, insomnia, PTSD, and bipolar disorder. Visits center on comprehensive psychiatric assessment, diagnosis, medication management, and brief psychotherapy as appropriate. The role includes working within evidence-based protocols with strong administrative and physician support, while maintaining significant clinical autonomy.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive psychiatric assessments, including mental health history, medical history, diagnostic evaluation, and risk assessment.
- Provide medication management and brief psychotherapy as part of individualized treatment plans.
- Provide patient-centered care for a broad range of outpatient psychiatric conditions.
- Use evidence-based clinical protocols and responsible prescribing practices.
- Collaborate with psychiatrists and clinical peers through consults and case reviews.
- Use telehealth platforms, EHR systems, e-prescribing, and other technology-enabled workflows.
- Coordinate care within a highly supported practice model with administrative assistance for scheduling, billing, prior authorizations, and pharmacy needs.
Required
- Active, unrestricted authority to practice as a PMHNP in at least one U.S. state or jurisdiction.
- Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and medication-management skills.
- Comfort providing remote care and using electronic health record systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to compassionate, evidence-based psychiatric care.
