Provide telehealth psychiatric care for patients with common outpatient mental health conditions such as depression, anxiety, ADHD, insomnia, PTSD, and bipolar disorder. The role centers on comprehensive psychiatric assessment, diagnosis, medication management, and brief psychotherapy when appropriate. Clinicians work with substantial autonomy while collaborating with psychiatrists and peers through consults and case reviews, supported by technology-enabled workflows and administrative support.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive psychiatric assessments, including mental health history, medical history, diagnostic evaluation, and risk assessment.
- Provide evidence-based treatment for outpatient psychiatric conditions, including depression, anxiety, ADHD, insomnia, PTSD, and bipolar disorder.
- Create individualized treatment plans that may include medication management and brief psychotherapy.
- Collaborate with psychiatrists and clinical peers through consultations and case reviews.
- Use telehealth platforms, EHR, e-prescribing, and other technology tools to deliver care.
- Practice responsible prescribing and follow evidence-based clinical protocols.
- Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care in a remote outpatient setting.
Required
- Active, unrestricted authority to practice as a PMHNP in at least one U.S. state or jurisdiction.
- Clinical experience in psychiatric assessment, diagnosis, and medication management.
- Comfort providing care remotely and using electronic health record systems.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to patient-centered, compassionate, evidence-based care.
