Provide high-level clinical consulting on sleep medicine cases by reviewing and refining AI-generated diagnostic and treatment reasoning, with a focus on alignment to AASM standards. The work centers on complex sleep-medicine presentations, polysomnography interpretation, and titration, with an emphasis on identifying errors that could affect safety or triage. This is a remote, project-based role that supports development of AI-driven clinical decision tools and requires concise technical feedback.
Key Responsibilities
- Review AI-generated diagnostic and treatment plans for sleep medicine cases.
- Validate complex case reasoning, including polysomnography interpretation and titration decisions.
- Identify clinical inaccuracies, hallucinations, and safety risks in AI outputs.
- Refine clinical reasoning to align with AASM standards and best practices.
- Advise on the development of AI-enabled clinical decision support tools.
- Provide concise, technical feedback on challenging sleep-medicine scenarios.
Required
- Board-certified or board-eligible in Sleep Medicine (ABIM).
- Current senior resident or fellow in Sleep Medicine training at PGY-2 level or above.
- At least 2 years of postgraduate clinical training.
- Based in the United States.
Preferred
- Established attending physician in Sleep Medicine.
- Senior trainee with experience in high-level clinical reasoning.
