This remote consulting role also includes identifying safety issues or clinical inaccuracies in model outputs and advising on palliative care decision-support tools. The work is flexible and project-based, with concise technical feedback expected on high-complexity cases.
Key Responsibilities
- Review AI-generated diagnostic and treatment recommendations for alignment with palliative care standards.
- Validate complex case reasoning related to symptom burden, prognostication, and goals-of-care discussions.
- Identify clinical errors, unsafe suggestions, or hallucinations that could affect patient safety or triage.
- Provide expert ground truth for challenging palliative medicine case presentations.
- Advise on the development of AI-driven clinical decision support tools.
- Submit concise, technical feedback on case accuracy and clinical logic.
Required
- Board-certified or board-eligible in Hospice and Palliative Medicine (ABIM).
- Current senior resident or fellow in Hospice and Palliative Medicine training at PGY-2 level or above.
- At least 2 years of postgraduate clinical training.
- Based in the United States.
- Ability to provide concise, technical feedback on complex clinical cases.
Preferred
- Experience as an attending physician in palliative medicine.
- Experience with frontier AI, clinical decision support, or medical model evaluation.
- Strong familiarity with AAHPM standards and palliative care best practices.
