This role involves reviewing and refining AI-generated clinical reasoning for otolaryngology cases, with a focus on diagnostic and treatment accuracy, safety, and triage. The work centers on complex ENT presentations, including interpretation of endoscopic findings and head/neck imaging, and may include advising on clinical decision support tools. It is a flexible, project-based remote consulting engagement for clinicians at multiple career stages.
Key Responsibilities
- Review AI-generated diagnostic and treatment recommendations for alignment with otolaryngology standards.
- Validate complex ENT case reasoning using detailed clinical presentations, endoscopic findings, and cross-sectional head/neck imaging.
- Identify clinical inaccuracies, hallucinations, or unsafe outputs that could affect patient care or triage.
- Provide technical feedback to refine frontier AI model performance in otolaryngology.
- Advise on the development of AI-driven clinical decision support tools for ENT care.
Required
- Board-certified or board-eligible in Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery.
- Current senior resident or fellow in Otolaryngology training (PGY-2 or above).
- At least 2 years of postgraduate clinical training.
- Based in the United States.
- Ability to provide concise, technical feedback on complex clinical cases.
Preferred
- Experience as an established attending or senior trainee in otolaryngology.
