Provide high-level clinical consulting on complex medical genetics cases, reviewing AI-generated diagnostic and treatment reasoning for accuracy, safety, and alignment with ACMG standards. This remote, project-based role focuses on expert validation of variant interpretation, phenotype correlation, and triage-relevant clinical reasoning. It also includes advising on the development of AI clinical decision support tools for genetics care.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and refine AI-generated diagnostic and treatment strategies for medical genetics cases.
- Validate complex case presentations, variant interpretation, and phenotype correlation.
- Identify clinical inaccuracies or hallucinations that could affect patient safety or triage decisions.
- Advise on the development of AI-driven clinical decision support tools.
- Provide concise, technical feedback on challenging clinical scenarios.
Required
- Board-certified or board-eligible in Clinical Genetics and Genomics (ABMGG).
- Current senior resident or fellow training in Clinical Genetics and Genomics (PGY-2 or above).
- At least 2 years of postgraduate clinical training.
- U.S.-based clinician.
Preferred
- Experience as a clinical attending in medical genetics.
- Background in reviewing or auditing clinical reasoning.
- Comfort working on complex, high-complexity genetics cases.
