This role involves reviewing and refining AI-generated maternal-fetal medicine reasoning, with a focus on complex pregnancy cases, fetal imaging, and antenatal surveillance. The work is centered on clinical validation, auditing, and safety oversight to ensure outputs align with ACOG/SMFM standards. It is a flexible, fully remote consulting engagement for clinicians at multiple career stages, including attendings, fellows, and senior residents.
Key Responsibilities
- Review AI-generated diagnostic and treatment recommendations for maternal-fetal medicine cases.
- Validate complex clinical reasoning using expert-level maternal-fetal medicine judgment.
- Assess fetal imaging and antenatal surveillance scenarios for clinical accuracy.
- Identify unsafe, inaccurate, or hallucinatory AI outputs that could affect triage or patient safety.
- Provide concise technical feedback on complex cases to refine model performance.
- Advise on the development of AI-enabled clinical decision support tools for maternal-fetal care.
Required
- Board-certified or board-eligible in Maternal-Fetal Medicine (ABOG), or a current fellow or senior resident in the specialty.
- At least 2 years of postgraduate clinical training.
- Based in the United States.
- Ability to provide concise, technical feedback on complex clinical cases.
Preferred
- Experience working with high-complexity maternal-fetal cases.
- Familiarity with ACOG and SMFM clinical standards.
- Interest in clinical AI, medical model validation, or decision support tools.
