Provide high-level infectious disease consulting by reviewing AI-generated diagnostic and treatment plans, validating clinical reasoning, and helping improve safety for complex cases. Work focuses on culture and susceptibility interpretation, stewardship, and expert review of nuanced infectious-disease presentations. This is a flexible, fully remote project that supports development of clinical decision tools and invites clinicians at multiple career stages.
Key Responsibilities
- Review AI-generated diagnostic and treatment strategies for alignment with infectious disease standards.
- Validate complex infectious-disease case reasoning, including culture and susceptibility interpretation.
- Identify clinical errors, hallucinations, or safety issues in AI outputs.
- Advise on the development of AI-driven clinical decision support tools.
- Provide concise technical feedback on intricate clinical cases.
Required
- Board-certified or board-eligible in Infectious Disease (ABIM), or a current fellow or senior resident (PGY-2 or above) training in the field.
- At least 2 years of postgraduate clinical training.
- Based in the United States.
- Ability to communicate concise, technical clinical feedback.
Preferred
- Experience as an established attending or senior trainee in infectious disease.
