Provide high-level hepatology consulting by reviewing and refining AI-generated diagnostic and treatment reasoning for complex liver cases, imaging, and biopsy correlations. This remote, project-based role focuses on validating clinical accuracy, identifying safety issues, and aligning outputs with AASLD standards. Clinicians also advise on the development of AI decision-support tools and deliver concise technical feedback on nuanced cases.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct clinical logic reviews of AI-generated diagnostic and treatment recommendations.
- Provide expert ground truth for complex hepatology cases, including liver imaging and biopsy correlation.
- Identify inaccuracies, hallucinations, and potential safety issues in AI outputs.
- Advise on clinical decision-support tool development for hepatology workflows.
- Refine and audit reasoning to support alignment with AASLD standards.
- Participate in concise technical review of complex clinical cases and model outputs.
Required
- Hold board certification or board eligibility in Transplant Hepatology (ABIM), or be a current senior resident or fellow (PGY-2 or above) training in the field.
- Have at least 2 years of postgraduate clinical training.
- Be based in the United States.
- Provide concise, technical feedback on complex clinical cases.
Preferred
- Have experience as an established attending or senior trainee in hepatology.
