Provide high-level critical care expertise by reviewing and refining AI-generated diagnostic and treatment recommendations for complex ICU cases. The work focuses on validating clinical reasoning, identifying unsafe or inaccurate outputs, and grounding model responses in critical care standards. This is a flexible, fully remote consulting role with project-based hours and opportunities to contribute to AI-driven clinical decision support.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and refine AI-generated diagnostic and treatment strategies for critical care cases.
- Validate complex presentations involving hemodynamic monitoring and ventilator management.
- Identify clinical inaccuracies, hallucinations, and other safety risks in AI outputs.
- Provide expert ground truth to support accurate triage and decision-making.
- Advise on the development of AI clinical decision support tools for critical care.
- Deliver concise, technical feedback on nuanced clinical scenarios.
Required
- Board-certified or board-eligible in Critical Care Medicine (ABIM), or current senior resident/fellow training in the field (PGY-2 or above).
- At least 2 years of postgraduate clinical training.
- Based in the United States.
- Ability to communicate concise, technical feedback on complex cases.
Preferred
- Experience as an attending physician in critical care.
- Training or experience with SCCM standards.
- Familiarity with clinical AI or decision support tools.
