This is a flexible, remote consulting role for an Addiction Psychiatrist to review and refine AI-generated clinical reasoning for complex addiction and psychiatric cases. The work centers on validating diagnostic formulations, treatment strategies, and risk assessments to improve the safety and accuracy of medical AI. Clinicians also provide technical feedback to help shape AI-driven clinical decision support tools.
Key Responsibilities
- Review AI-generated diagnostic and treatment recommendations for alignment with APA and ASAM standards.
- Validate complex addiction psychiatry case presentations, including diagnostic formulation and risk assessment.
- Identify clinical inaccuracies, hallucinations, or unsafe triage suggestions in AI outputs.
- Provide expert consultation to refine frontier AI models used for psychiatric and addiction care.
- Advise on the development of AI-enabled clinical decision support tools.
- Deliver concise, technical feedback on high-complexity clinical cases.
Required
- Board-certified or board-eligible in Addiction Psychiatry (ABPN).
- Current senior resident or fellow in Addiction Psychiatry training at PGY-2 level or above.
- At least 2 years of postgraduate clinical training.
- Based in the United States.
