Provide telehealth psychiatric evaluations, follow-up visits, prescribing, and outcome monitoring for patients being considered for ketamine-assisted psychotherapy, with a primary focus on anxiety and depression. The role also includes adjusting treatment plans based on response, using a collaborative care model with psychotherapists and care coordination support. This is a remote, fast-paced startup environment with training and mentorship in KAP prescribing.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct telemedicine intake and follow-up consultations to assess KAP eligibility and monitor patient response.
- Prescribe and adjust medications based on clinical response and treatment outcomes.
- Provide psychiatric recommendations for patients with anxiety, depression, and related mental health needs.
- Collaborate with member psychotherapists as part of a coordinated care model.
- Coordinate with a care coordinator to streamline workflow and patient management.
- Use simple digital tools and communication platforms to support remote practice.
- Report feedback on the care management system to help improve services.
- Collaborate with the lead clinician, leadership team, and co-founders on clinical care.
Required
- Licensed to practice in Oregon.
- PMHNP certification with at least 1 year of psychiatric-related experience after boards.
- DEA registration.
- Ability to prescribe controlled substances when medically appropriate.
Preferred
- At least 1 year of psychiatric experience as a PMHNP.
- Experience prescribing for anxiety and depression.
- Interest in psychedelic-assisted psychotherapy.
- Comfort working remotely in a telehealth startup environment.
