The clinician conducts telehealth intake and follow-up visits for patients being evaluated for ketamine-assisted psychotherapy, with a focus on prescribing, eligibility assessment, and outcome monitoring for anxiety and depression. The role also involves adjusting treatment plans based on patient response and working within a collaborative care model alongside psychotherapists and internal clinical staff. This is a remote, fast-paced telehealth position with training and mentorship in KAP.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct telehealth intake and follow-up consultations for ketamine-assisted psychotherapy eligibility and monitoring.
- Prescribe medications when medically appropriate and monitor patient outcomes.
- Suggest treatment plan changes based on patient response to medication and therapy.
- Engage in collaborative care with network psychotherapists.
- Work with a care coordinator to streamline workflow.
- Provide feedback on the care management system to support service improvement.
- Report to the Lead Clinician and collaborate with leadership and co-founders.
Required
- Licensed to practice in Wisconsin.
- Current DEA registration.
- Minimum 1 year of psych-related experience and post-board certification.
- Ability to prescribe controlled substances when medically appropriate.
- Comfort prescribing for anxiety and depression.
Preferred
- 1 year of psychiatric experience as a PMHNP.
- Interest in psychedelic-assisted psychotherapy.
- Comfort working remotely in a telehealth startup environment.
- Ability to synthesize medical and psychiatric information quickly to make evidence-based recommendations.
