Provide telehealth psychiatric care for patients being evaluated for ketamine-assisted psychotherapy, including intake, follow-up consultations, prescribing, and monitoring response for anxiety, depression, and related mental health needs. In this role, you also adjust treatment plans based on clinical response and collaborate closely with psychotherapists and care coordination staff in a fast-paced remote practice.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct telehealth intake and follow-up consultations to assess ketamine-assisted psychotherapy eligibility.
- Provide prescribing and medication management for appropriate psychiatric treatment.
- Monitor patient outcomes and adjust treatment plans based on response.
- Coordinate care with member psychotherapists to support collaborative treatment.
- Work with a care coordinator to streamline clinical workflow.
- Use telehealth and practice tools such as Slack, G Suite, and Zoom in daily work.
- Participate in feedback and process improvement for the care management system.
- Collaborate with the lead clinician, leadership team, and co-founders.
Required
- Current license to practice in New Jersey.
- Board certification or recent board completion as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP).
- At least 1 year of psychiatry-related experience after boards.
- DEA registration.
- Comfort prescribing controlled substances when medically appropriate.
- Ability to synthesize medical and psychiatric information into evidence-based clinical recommendations.
Preferred
- 1 year of psych experience as a PMHNP.
- Interest in psychedelic-assisted psychotherapy.
- Experience working in a remote telehealth environment.
