The clinician provides telehealth intake and follow-up consultations for patients being evaluated for ketamine-assisted psychotherapy, including prescribing, eligibility review, and outcome monitoring. The role also supports treatment adjustments for patients with anxiety and depression within a collaborative care model that pairs the medical team with member psychotherapists. This is a remote, fast-paced telehealth position with workflow support from care coordination and access to KAP training and mentorship.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct telemedicine intake and follow-up visits to assess KAP eligibility, prescribe treatment, and monitor patient outcomes
- Suggest treatment plan changes based on response to medication and psychotherapy outcomes
- Engage in collaborative care with member psychotherapists
- Work with a care coordinator to streamline clinical workflow
- Provide timely feedback on the care management system to improve services
- Report to the Lead Clinician and collaborate with leadership and co-founders
Required
- Licensed to practice in Nevada
- Psychiatric nurse practitioner experience, including post-board practice
- Minimum 1 year of psych-related experience
- DEA registration
- Ability to prescribe controlled substances when medically appropriate
- Comfort managing patients with anxiety and depression
Preferred
- 1 year of psych experience as a PMHNP
- Interest in psychedelic-assisted psychotherapy
- Comfort working in a fast-paced telehealth startup environment
- Familiarity with tools such as Slack, G Suite, and Zoom
