Provide telehealth psychiatric care for patients being evaluated for ketamine-assisted psychotherapy, including intake, follow-up, prescribing, and outcome monitoring. The role also involves adjusting treatment plans based on patient response, collaborating with psychotherapists, and supporting a streamlined care workflow in a fast-paced remote practice. The work is centered on anxiety, depression, and psychedelic-assisted psychotherapy, with training and mentorship in KAP available.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct telemedicine intake and follow-up consultations to assess KAP eligibility.
- Prescribe and monitor patient outcomes for ketamine-assisted psychotherapy.
- Suggest treatment plan changes based on medication response and clinical progress.
- Engage in collaborative care with member psychotherapists.
- Coordinate with a care coordinator to streamline workflow.
- Provide timely feedback on the care management system to improve services.
- Collaborate with the Lead Clinician, leadership team, and co-founders.
Required
- Licensed to practice in Connecticut.
- Active DEA registration.
- Minimum 1 year of psych-related experience post-board certification.
- Ability to prescribe controlled substances when medically appropriate.
- Comfort prescribing for anxiety and depression.
- Ability to synthesize medical and psychiatric information into evidence-based recommendations.
Preferred
- 1 year of psychiatric experience as a PMHNP.
- Interest in psychedelic-assisted psychotherapy.
- Experience working in a telehealth environment.
