Provide telemedicine-based neurologic evaluation and management for patients across Jefferson Health, with a focus on timely virtual consultations for a broad range of neurologic conditions. This role works within a collaborative academic health system alongside neurologists, advanced practice providers, emergency medicine physicians, hospitalists, and other multidisciplinary teams. It also supports the continued growth of a technology-enabled tele-neurology program and uses secure telemedicine tools in a patient-centered setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct virtual neurologic evaluations and manage patient care through telemedicine.
- Evaluate and treat a broad spectrum of neurologic conditions.
- Collaborate with neurologists, advanced practice providers, emergency medicine physicians, hospitalists, and other clinical teams.
- Provide timely neurology consultations within the health system.
- Use secure telemedicine technology to support patient care.
- Participate in the development and expansion of the tele-neurology program.
- Work within an academic environment with access to neuroscience and subspecialty resources.
Required
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
- Completion of an ACGME-accredited Neurology residency.
- Board certified or board eligible in Neurology.
- Eligible for medical licensure in Pennsylvania.
- Strong clinical judgment and communication skills.
- Comfort providing patient care through telemedicine.

- Fellowship training or additional expertise in a neurologic subspecialty.
