This role focuses on virtual dermatology care for patients with common skin conditions such as acne, eczema, psoriasis, and screening needs. The clinician conducts remote consultations, develops evidence-based treatment plans, prescribes medications when appropriate, and supports patients with skincare education and follow-up. It is a telehealth-based position that emphasizes patient-centered care, collaboration with the care team, and accurate documentation.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct virtual consultations to assess, diagnose, and manage common dermatologic conditions
- Provide evidence-based treatment plans and prescribe medications as needed
- Educate patients on skincare routines, treatment use, and preventive care
- Collaborate with the care team to coordinate follow-up and continuity of care
- Maintain accurate and thorough electronic health records for patient visits
- Use telehealth platforms and virtual communication tools for patient care
- Stay current with dermatology advances and telemedicine best practices
Required
- Active and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license in any US state
- NP certification
- At least 5 years of experience in dermatology or skincare-related roles
- Strong knowledge of diagnosing and treating common dermatologic conditions
- Excellent communication skills in virtual care settings
- Comfort using telehealth platforms, Zoom, and GSuite systems
