Provide telemedicine visits for women in midlife who are navigating perimenopause, menopause, and other common hormone-related concerns, with the option to also see men seeking hormone optimization. Review labs, discuss treatment options, create individualized care plans, titrate medications, and prescribe when clinically appropriate.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct telemedicine consultations using a HIPAA-compliant video platform.
- Provide care for women in midlife with perimenopause, menopause, and related health concerns.
- Review laboratory results and discuss treatment options with patients.
- Educate patients and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Titrate medications based on patient outcomes and clinical response.
- Prescribe medications when indicated by the clinical assessment.
- Support care for men seeking hormone optimization when experienced in that population.
- Provide feedback to help improve the patient experience and workflow.
Required
- MD or DO with a valid medical license.
- Unrestricted DEA license.
- Experience prescribing Schedule III controlled substances.
- Availability for at least 6-8 hours per week for consultations.
- Comfort with technology and video visits, or willingness to learn.
- Strong physician-patient communication skills.
Preferred
- At least 2 years of experience in Obstetrics/Gynecology, Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, and/or Hormone Replacement Therapy.
- Multiple state medical licenses.
- Experience with telemedicine.
- NCMP (NAMS-certified menopause practitioner) certification.
- Experience treating men’s health, testosterone therapy, weight loss, or thyroid conditions.
