This role is a strategic advisory position for an experienced healthcare leader who can guide a physician-backed venture platform focused on healthcare startups, innovation, and social impact. The advisor contributes perspective on market trends, investment themes, founder support, and ecosystem growth, rather than providing direct patient care. It is a flexible, remote opportunity that involves periodic board discussions and relationship-building across healthcare and startup networks.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide strategic guidance on growth, positioning, partnerships, investment focus, and long-term vision.
- Advise on healthcare market trends, emerging opportunities, startup evaluation, and founder support.
- Contribute leadership insight across clinical care, healthcare operations, digital health, biotech, medical devices, pharma, payer/provider strategy, healthcare AI, investing, or entrepreneurship.
- Support ecosystem growth by offering introductions, perspective, and expertise.
- Participate in periodic board-related discussions and share thoughtful recommendations.
Required
- Significant experience in healthcare, medicine, life sciences, venture capital, startups, healthcare operations, digital health, medical devices, biotech, pharma, healthcare AI, or a related field.
- Ability to commit approximately 2–4 hours per month to advisory activities.
Preferred
- Senior leadership, board, advisory, investing, entrepreneurial, clinical, executive, or operating experience.
- Strong professional network within healthcare, investment, startup, clinical, hospital, payer, provider, pharma, biotech, or health technology ecosystems.
