Serve in a strategic advisory role for a physician-backed healthcare venture platform, helping evaluate startups, shape investment priorities, and guide ecosystem growth across healthcare innovation. The work centers on clinical informatics and broader healthcare market insight, with input on digital health, operations, AI, biotech, medical devices, payer/provider strategy, and founder support. This is a flexible remote role with periodic board-level participation and opportunities to contribute introductions and expertise across a mission-driven portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide strategic guidance on growth, positioning, partnerships, investment focus, and long-term vision.
- Advise on healthcare market trends, emerging opportunities, startup evaluation, founder support, and social impact strategy.
- Contribute leadership insight across clinical care, healthcare operations, digital health, biotech, medical devices, pharma, payer/provider strategy, healthcare AI, investing, or entrepreneurship.
- Support portfolio and ecosystem development by offering introductions, perspective, and subject matter expertise.
- Participate in periodic board-related discussions and provide thoughtful recommendations based on professional background.
Required
- Significant experience in healthcare, medicine, life sciences, venture capital, startups, healthcare operations, digital health, medical devices, biotech, pharma, healthcare AI, or a related field.
- Experience in a senior leadership, board, advisory, investing, entrepreneurial, clinical, executive, or operating role.
- Strong professional network within healthcare, investment, startup, clinical, hospital, payer, provider, pharma, biotech, health technology, or innovation ecosystems.
- Ability to commit approximately 2–4 hours per month to advisory activities.
Preferred
- Physician clinical informatics background.
- Prior experience in senior leadership, board service, advisory work, investing, or entrepreneurship.
- Experience supporting healthcare startups or healthcare innovation platforms.
- Existing network across healthcare founders, investors, clinicians, executives, or industry leaders.
