This is a remote advisory role for experienced healthcare leaders who can provide strategic guidance on healthcare innovation, startup evaluation, and ecosystem growth. The work centers on advising a physician-backed venture platform, with exposure to venture capital, venture studio, marketing, and community-building activities. It is suited to senior clinicians or executives with a strong network and interest in healthcare entrepreneurship and social impact.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide strategic guidance on growth, positioning, partnerships, investment focus, and long-term vision.
- Advise on healthcare market trends, emerging opportunities, founder support, and social impact strategy.
- Contribute leadership insight across clinical care, healthcare operations, digital health, biotech, medical devices, pharma, payer/provider strategy, healthcare AI, investing, or entrepreneurship.
- Support the ecosystem by offering introductions, perspective, and expertise to strengthen portfolio and founder support.
- Participate in periodic board-related discussions and share thoughtful recommendations based on professional background.
Required
- Significant experience in healthcare, medicine, life sciences, venture capital, startups, healthcare operations, or related fields.
- Background in senior leadership, board, advisory, investing, entrepreneurial, clinical, executive, or operating roles.
- Strong professional network within healthcare, investment, startup, clinical, hospital, payer, provider, pharma, biotech, health technology, or innovation ecosystems.
- Ability to commit approximately 2-4 hours per month to advisory activities.
Preferred
- Physician CEO or physician leadership experience.
- Experience in digital health, biotech, medical devices, pharma, healthcare AI, or healthcare investing.
- Prior board or advisory experience.
- Interest in mission-driven healthcare entrepreneurship and social impact.
