Provide clinical and strategic input on healthcare startups focused on primary care, preventive care, chronic disease management, care coordination, telehealth, digital health, and population health. This is a flexible, remote advisory role for experienced family medicine physicians who can help evaluate clinical relevance, workflow fit, scalability, and patient impact across venture fund and venture studio projects. Advisors also contribute practical insight on clinician adoption, patient engagement, care delivery models, and healthcare operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide clinical and strategic guidance on startups in primary care, preventive care, chronic disease management, telehealth, digital health, and healthcare AI.
- Evaluate founders, business models, clinical relevance, workflow fit, scalability, and social impact potential.
- Advise portfolio companies and entrepreneurs on family medicine workflows, clinician adoption, patient engagement, and commercialization strategy.
- Offer introductions and subject matter expertise across primary care, value-based care, healthcare technology, and startup ecosystems.
- Participate in periodic advisory discussions and share practical recommendations based on clinical experience.
Required
- MD or DO degree with experience practicing family medicine.
- Ability to commit approximately 2-4 hours per month to advisory activities.
Preferred
- Board certification or board eligibility in family medicine.
- Experience in primary care operations, population health, value-based care, chronic disease management, telehealth, digital health, healthcare AI, startups, investing, advisory work, or healthcare innovation.
- Strong understanding of family medicine workflows, patient engagement, care coordination, preventive care, and clinician needs.
