Provide part-time virtual primary care for adults across urgent, acute, and general medicine concerns using both asynchronous messaging and synchronous video visits. The role emphasizes continuity, clinical ownership, and thoughtful follow-up rather than one-off telehealth encounters, with coordination of labs, imaging, referrals, and specialist input as needed. It is designed to fit alongside an existing hospital, emergency department, or outpatient practice.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct asynchronous and synchronous virtual visits for adult primary care, urgent care, and acute care needs.
- Provide ongoing clinical guidance across the episode of care, including follow-up and next-step planning.
- Coordinate labs, imaging, referrals, and in-network specialty consultations when appropriate.
- Use AI-enabled tools to support intake, documentation, and care coordination.
- Collaborate with a dedicated operations team to reduce non-clinical workload.
- Manage broad general medicine cases with diagnostic ambiguity and clinical synthesis.
- Maintain continuity and patient partnership through shared decision-making and follow-through.
Required
- MD or DO degree.
- Board-certified or board-eligible in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine.
- Active, unrestricted medical licenses covering at least 40% of the U.S. population.
- Multi-state licensure.
- Ability to treat Medicare and Medicaid patients.
- Minimum availability of 12 hours per week, including at least one weekend shift per month.
Preferred
- Prior telehealth experience.
- Existing hospital, emergency department, or outpatient practice.
- Experience working with modern clinical tools and adaptive workflows.
