Provide orthopedic clinical guidance for a virtual musculoskeletal care program, with emphasis on surgery, rehabilitation, injury prevention, sports medicine, joint replacement, spine care, and fracture management. This advisory role also supports the evaluation of remote care pathways, digital therapeutics, patient engagement, and AI-enabled workflows within a value-based care model. It is a flexible remote position focused on strategic input, clinical best practices, and cross-functional collaboration rather than direct patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide clinical guidance on musculoskeletal health, orthopedic surgery, rehabilitation, injury prevention, and related conditions.
- Advise on virtual orthopedic care pathways, remote patient monitoring, digital therapeutics, healthcare AI, and patient engagement strategies.
- Support leadership in improving patient outcomes, care coordination, mobility, recovery, and value-based musculoskeletal care.
- Share expertise on orthopedic workflows, clinical best practices, patient education, and digital health adoption.
- Participate in periodic advisory board meetings and provide strategic recommendations for clinical innovation and growth.
- Collaborate on integration of orthopedic care with primary care and chronic disease management.
Required
- MD or DO degree.
- Experience practicing orthopedic surgery.
- Ability to commit approximately 1–2 hours per month to advisory activities.
Preferred
- Board certification or board eligibility in Orthopedic Surgery.
- Experience in musculoskeletal medicine, sports medicine, joint replacement, spine surgery, trauma, or orthopedic rehabilitation.
- Experience with digital health, telemedicine, healthcare AI, or healthcare innovation.
- Strong understanding of multidisciplinary orthopedic care and evidence-based musculoskeletal treatment.
