This is a remote advisory role for an experienced hematologist to provide input on benign and malignant blood disorders, thrombosis, anticoagulation, laboratory medicine, and related chronic disease initiatives. The work centers on clinical, operational, and strategic guidance for a virtual care platform that uses telemedicine, remote monitoring, and digital health tools. The advisor also helps evaluate new programs, clinical workflows, and technology solutions for multidisciplinary care and value-based care models.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide clinical and strategic guidance on hematology-related initiatives, chronic disease management, anticoagulation, laboratory medicine, and preventive care programs.
- Advise on clinical workflows, physician adoption, care coordination, and patient engagement strategies.
- Support evaluation and development of virtual care services, clinical protocols, and technology solutions.
- Offer subject matter expertise on quality improvement, clinical operations, value-based care, and emerging innovations in hematology and digital medicine.
- Participate in periodic advisory discussions and contribute practical recommendations based on clinical and leadership experience.
Required
- MD or DO degree.
- Experience practicing hematology.
- Ability to commit approximately 1–2 hours per month to advisory participation.
Preferred
- Board certification or board eligibility in Hematology and/or Hematology-Oncology.
- Experience in benign hematology, hematologic malignancies, thrombosis, coagulation disorders, transfusion medicine, or laboratory medicine.
- Background in digital health, healthcare AI, telemedicine, or healthcare innovation.
- Strong understanding of multidisciplinary care coordination, evidence-based medicine, and quality improvement.
