Serve as the clinical lead for a virtual longevity and preventive health practice, conducting member consultations, results reviews, and ongoing optimization check-ins for patients navigating biomarkers, imaging, wearables, and genomics. The role also includes interpreting AI-generated health reports, managing safety and escalation workflows, and overseeing care for abnormal findings or higher-risk members. In addition, this physician helps shape clinical protocols, external partnerships, and go-to-market strategy as part of a founding team.
Key Responsibilities
- Co-develop clinical protocols, biomarker panels, care pathways, and optimization frameworks.
- Conduct member-facing consultations, results reviews, and ongoing follow-up check-ins.
- Review and sign off on AI-generated health reports and other member-facing clinical content.
- Build and enforce clinical safety, consent, and escalation processes.
- Serve as medical reviewer for edge cases, abnormal findings, and higher-risk members.
- Partner with the CEO and product team on commercial strategy, pricing, and positioning.
- Source and structure partnerships with labs, imaging providers, diagnostics companies, employers, and channel partners.
- Hire and manage contracted physicians and NPs as the clinical team grows.
Required
- MD degree and active medical license.
- 10+ years of primary care experience.
- Recent telemedicine experience.
- Experience with longevity or preventive health biomarkers, including advanced lipids, metabolomics, hormonal panels, inflammatory markers, CGM, and genomics.
- Experience in a startup, digital health company, or concierge/direct-care practice.
- Comfort working with AI-assisted clinical tools.
Preferred
- Active medical licenses in NY, NJ, CT, and CA.
- IFM, ABAARM, or equivalent longevity/functional medicine certification.
- Experience structuring telemedicine consent or asynchronous care models.
- Network within longevity medicine or preventive care communities.
