Provide real-time virtual urgent care to patients with low- to moderate-acuity, non-emergency conditions through video, phone, and chat consultations. This role centers on evaluating, diagnosing, and treating common acute concerns while guiding patients on medications, self-care, and preventive steps. The practice is fully remote and uses a technology-enabled care model with electronic health record documentation and collaboration with other clinicians as needed.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct real-time medical consultations via video, phone, and chat.
- Assess, diagnose, and treat a broad range of non-emergency conditions remotely.
- Prescribe medications in line with evidence-based guidelines and regulatory requirements.
- Document patient encounters accurately in the electronic health record.
- Educate patients on self-care, preventive measures, and treatment plans.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals as needed.
- Contribute to clinical guidelines and standard operating procedures.
Required
- Board certification in family medicine, emergency medicine, internal medicine, or a related field.
- Valid MD or DO license in the relevant state(s).
- Multi-state licensure preferred for broad patient coverage.
- At least 5 years of post-residency experience in urgent care, emergency medicine, internal medicine, or primary care.
- Proficiency with telemedicine technology and electronic health records.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.

- Prior telehealth experience in urgent care, emergency medicine, or primary care.
