Provide virtual, evidence-based therapy for patients with eating disorders and co-occurring mental health conditions across the lifespan, with a focus on family, individual, and group treatment. Work as part of a multidisciplinary care team and use structured therapies such as FBT, CBT-E, and CBT-AR to support patients and their families. This role is fully remote and includes ongoing supervision, training, and documentation through the organization’s EMR.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide family, individual, and group therapy in a virtual setting for eating disorders and comorbid diagnoses.
- Implement evidence-based treatments including FBT, CBT-E, and CBT-AR.
- Maintain a patient caseload to assess, diagnose, and treat mental health conditions.
- Collaborate with medical providers, dietitians, patient mentors, family mentors, and outside providers.
- Use between-session messaging and the EMR to support patients and communicate with the care team.
- Participate in supervision, training, department meetings, and other required administrative tasks.
- Obtain and maintain required pre-licensure status and pursue additional licensure as needed.
Required
- Master’s or doctoral degree in a mental health field.
- Associate-licensure eligibility or active progress toward associate licensure in California.
- Ability to provide care safely and effectively in a virtual setting.
- Willingness to support patients of all ages, backgrounds, acuity levels, and co-occurring conditions under supervision.
- Passion for evidence-based mental health and eating disorder treatment.
Preferred
- Experience or strong interest in eating disorder treatment.
- Experience working in multidisciplinary or team-based care settings.
- Familiarity with family-based or cognitive behavioral treatment models.
