This role combines hands-on obesity and metabolic health care with clinical leadership, including maintaining an active patient panel and providing direct patient care each week. The clinician helps guide long-term weight loss treatment, patient education, and ongoing management within a technology-enabled, distributed care model. In addition to patient care, the role focuses on scaling provider capacity, improving workflows, and supporting quality, safety, and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care and maintain an active patient panel.
- Conduct obesity and metabolic health visits focused on durable weight loss and long-term outcomes.
- Build and optimize a scalable provider network across clinic partners.
- Eliminate operational friction that slows care delivery.
- Set and uphold clinical quality, safety, and regulatory standards.
- Translate clinical judgment into protocols, systems, and workflows.
- Collaborate with Product and Operations to improve care delivery.
- Mentor providers and use patient-care insights to inform clinical decisions.
Required
- Medical degree (MD or DO).
- Active clinical practice with the ability to maintain an ongoing patient panel.
- Experience in clinical leadership, quality oversight, or care delivery operations.
- Ability to provide at least 10 hours per week of direct patient care.
Preferred
- Experience in obesity medicine, metabolic health, or weight management.
- Background in technology-enabled or distributed care models.
- Experience building scalable clinical workflows or provider networks.
- Comfort working across clinical, operational, and product teams.
