Review cardiology journals and evaluate new evidence for inclusion in a point-of-care clinical decision resource. This work centers on assessing the clinical utility of cardiology literature and communicating findings to an evidence-review team. The role is remote within the U.S. and is designed as a low-hour, regular contributor position.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor cardiology journals within specialty scope for relevant new evidence.
- Assess studies and clinical updates for potential inclusion in DynaMed.
- Provide specialty expertise to determine the clinical utility of evidence.
- Communicate findings with DynaMed writers, clinicians, scientists, and external experts.
- Review evidence in a timely manner to help keep content current.
- Work closely with the Systematic Literature Surveillance team and other literature reviewers.
Required
- MD or DO degree.
- Actively practicing cardiologist.
- Current board certification or board eligibility in cardiology, in good standing.
- Broad and deep knowledge of cardiology demonstrated through clinical experience and teaching and/or research.
Preferred
- Strong clinical skills.
- Familiarity with evidence-based medicine.
- Interest in evidence-based medicine.
