Provide medical direction and clinical oversight for nurse practitioners performing telehealth Good Faith Exams for aesthetic and wellness services. The role focuses on reviewing clearances, maintaining protocols, and supporting safe, consistent care across multiple states. It also involves ongoing collaboration with an experienced NP team and helping add new services as the organization grows.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as Medical Director for assigned licensed states.
- Establish, review, and approve clinical procedures and protocols.
- Maintain protocols aligned with state requirements and current standards of care.
- Provide collaborative oversight and clinical guidance to nurse practitioners.
- Lead recurring virtual group meetings with the NP team.
- Review a representative sample of NP clearances for quality and protocol compliance.
- Provide education and feedback when improvement opportunities are identified.
- Remain available for clinical and protocol-related questions.
- Support the addition of new services, treatments, and procedures.
Required
- MD or DO degree.
- Active medical license in one or more states.
- Experience collaborating with or supervising nurse practitioners.
- Experience developing or approving clinical procedures and protocols.
Preferred
- Experience in aesthetic medicine, wellness, telehealth, or collaborative NP oversight.
- Comfort supervising services such as injectables, lasers, body contouring, IV therapy, and weight-management medications.
- Experience working in multi-state clinical oversight.
- Interest in an ongoing professional relationship with the practice.
