Perform in-person independent medical examinations for patients with pulmonary, respiratory, and lung conditions, then provide objective medical opinions for insurance-related case reviews. Work is contract-based and flexible, with cases accepted according to availability. Medical records are supplied in advance, and reports are completed within a short turnaround time.
Key Responsibilities
- Review medical records related to pulmonary, respiratory, and lung conditions.
- Conduct in-person pulmonary evaluations and examinations.
- Provide objective medical opinions and answer case-specific questions from insurance carriers.
- Prepare clear, comprehensive IME reports within the required turnaround time.
- Use provided documentation to support chart review and assessment.
Required
- Board certification in Pulmonology.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

- Prior IME experience.
