Conduct telework-based medical record reviews for radiology cases, providing objective, evidence-based opinions and answering client questions related to radiology care. Prepare clear clinical summaries and help support high-quality, defensible medical determinations without establishing a doctor-patient relationship or providing treatment. This is a flexible independent contractor role with case review work supported by organized records, clinical guidelines, and an online portal.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive reviews of clinical cases and radiology-related records.
- Prepare clear and concise clinical summaries.
- Respond to specific client questions related to radiology care.
- Provide objective, evidence-based medical opinions.
- Use the online work portal to review fully prepared cases and applicable clinical guidelines.
- Coordinate with administrative support for case flow and communications as needed.
Required
- Current, unrestricted Pennsylvania medical license or certification.
- US board certification in Radiology.
- At least 5 years of clinical radiology experience.
- Ability to attend all required orientation and training sessions.
- Maintain appropriate credentialing, state licensure, and required certifications.
Preferred
- Prior experience in medical record review or medical advisory work.
- Experience with telework or remote independent contractor roles.
