Conduct telework-based medical record reviews in endocrinology, focusing on clinical case assessment, clinical summaries, and responses to client questions. This advisory-only role centers on peer-to-peer communications and evaluation of cases involving gender dysmorphia treatment experience. The work is supported by a structured review process, with no patient treatment or doctor-patient relationship established.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough reviews of clinical cases and medical records.
- Provide clear clinical summaries for client review.
- Answer specific questions posed by clients based on the case record.
- Engage in peer communications as part of the review process.
- Use provided treatment guidelines and chronological record summaries to support determinations.
- Participate in orientation and training for the review workflow.
Required
- Board certified in Endocrinology.
- Current, unrestricted New Mexico medical license.
- At least 5 years of clinical practice experience.
- Direct experience prescribing and treating patients with gender dysmorphia.
- Ability to maintain required credentialing, state licenses, and certifications.
Preferred
- Experience working in advisory or utilization review settings.
- Prior telework or remote review experience.
