Conduct telework-based peer reviews of clinical cases for patients with internal medicine and neurology issues, with a focus on reviewing medical records, preparing clinical summaries, and answering client questions. The work is primarily non-patient-facing and centers on medical-necessity or disability-style case assessment rather than direct treatment.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough reviews of medical records and other case materials.
- Provide concise clinical summaries based on reviewed documentation.
- Participate in peer-to-peer communications as needed.
- Answer specific clinical questions submitted by clients.
- Use provided case preparations and transcription support to complete reports.
- Coordinate with client-facing workflows to support timely report delivery.
Required
- Board certified in Internal Medicine and Neurology.
- Current, unrestricted medical license.
- At least 5 years of clinical practice experience.
- Ability to attend required orientation and training.
- Maintain required credentialing, state licenses, and any applicable certifications.
