This role focuses on telework-based medical record review for disability peer cases, where the clinician evaluates clinical documentation, prepares summaries, and responds to client-specific questions. The work is advisory only and does not involve direct patient care or treatment. It is a 1099 independent contractor role with a flexible, self-directed schedule.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough reviews of clinical cases and medical records.
- Provide concise clinical summaries based on chart review.
- Engage in peer-to-peer communications as needed.
- Answer specific questions submitted by clients.
- Review disability-related cases within an advisory, non-treatment framework.
- Use a web-based portal to complete case work and documentation.
- Coordinate with administrative support for case flow and turnaround requirements.
Required
- Board certification.
- Current, unrestricted medical license.
- At least 5 years of clinical practice experience.
Preferred
- Experience conducting disability peer reviews.
