Key Responsibilities
- Conduct disability peer reviews and provide evidence-based advisory opinions.
- Review medical records and case materials to assess disability claims.
- Coordinate with an administrative support team that organizes records and case flow.
- Use a work portal to access cases and complete determinations or reports.
- Participate in a streamlined review process with timely turnaround expectations.
- Complete reviews within scheduled availability and selected case volume.
Required
- Board certification in Endocrinology.
- Current, unrestricted medical license.
- Physician contract reviewer status as an independent consultant (1099).
