Conduct remote, advisory-only disability peer reviews for patients with obstetric and gynecologic conditions, evaluating medical records and disability claims rather than providing direct treatment. Work is done from home with flexible scheduling, and case volume can be chosen based on availability. The role focuses on clinical decision-making, with administrative tasks, record organization, and report delivery managed through a streamlined review process.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct disability peer reviews and render advisory medical opinions based on case records
- Review OB/GYN-related conditions and claims for disability determinations
- Evaluate organized medical records and supporting documentation
- Coordinate with the review workflow through a user-friendly case portal
- Provide timely determinations and reports within assigned turnaround times
- Participate in a telework-based, contract review model with flexible case selection
Required
- Board certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology
- Current, unrestricted medical license
